Susan Grawbarger

GRAWBARGER, Susan Olive - At her home in South River, on Saturday, February 24, 1996, in her 84th year. Susan (McConnell) was predeceased by her husband Kitchener J. Grawbarger. Loving mother of Joy Longford (Art) and Norma White (Doug), all of South River. Dear sister of Mabel Byers, Callander; Truman McConnell, Barrie; Mary Grawbarger, Capreol; Manson McConnell, Corbeil; Gertie Fryer, North Bay. Predeceased by her son Edwin Grawbarger, her daughters Edna Rich and Fay Walters, and her sisters Queenie Duggan, Agnes Byers and Eva Grawbarger. Susan was a member of the South River Women's Institute, Chalmer's U.C.W. and the Friendly Circle Seniors Club. The family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home in Powassan (705-724-2024) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and at Chalmers United Church in South River on Wednesday 12 noon to 2 p.m. Funeral service to be conducted by Reverend Doug Loucks on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Spring interment Restoule Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
