Powassan teen-ager killed by automobile
POWASSAN (Staff)— A IS-year-old Powassan boy was struck and killed by a ear Thursday night as he walked near his home.
Dead is Edwin Joseph Rich son Mr. and Mrs. Carl Rich of Lot 13 Cone 13 Powassan.
Police said the boy was walking on the concession road near his home about three quarters of a mile east of Powassan at 9:45.
The boy was eastbound when he was struck by a westbound car driven by George Rausch of Pringle Township, Commanda.
Coroner is Dr. A. O. Aiyede of Powassan. Const. Robert Vandal of the Powassan OPP Detachment la conducting the investigation.
