David L. Sweet suffers fatal attack
David Leland Sweet, 3S , of 134 Melrose Ave., Youngstown, a former employee of the Dyfoam Corp. of New Castle, was dead on arrival in the Youngstown Southside Hospital at 8 a.m. yesterday of an apparent heart attack.
He was born in Los Angeles April 16, 1926, to Roy and Nance Williams Sweet. He went to Youngstown 12 years ago.
Mr. Sweet was employed as a draftsman at Kay Machine, Youngstown, for two weeks. He was employed at Dyfoam for 1 1/2 years.
He was a member of the Pleasant Grove UP Church and the Stewardship Class of the church. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Surviving are two daughters, Pamela and Charlene at home; his mother of Los Angeles; and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Sevy of San Pedro, Calif., and Miss Eileen Sweet of Los Angeles.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Tuhill Sweet, in August 1965.
Friends will be received in the Davis-Velker Funeral Home, Youngstown, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
A service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home by Dr. Don P. Montgomery.
Burial will be in Lake Fark Cemetery.
