Thomas J. "Tom" Sheridan
Passed away peacefully on the morning of Saturday, December 17, 2016, surrounded by loved ones, in Kingston General Hospital's Acute Stroke Unit. He will be fondly remembered by his broad circle of family and friends and the community of Brockville.
Tom will be deeply missed by his wife Luella; children Dana McGregor and his wife Tanya Khan, Denise Clifford and her husband Chris, grandchildren Kanon, Cole, Kortland, and Chloe, sisters Helen Fenlon and Pat Yates, and his many loving nieces and nephews. Tom is pre-deceased by his brother Joseph Sheridan and his sisters Mary Ford and Alice Goodbody.
Tom was born in Brockville to parents Helen and James Sheridan on February 16, 1942. Tom will be remembered for his warm and generous heart, his deep love for children and family, and his passion for all sports. His 38 year marriage to wife Luella was an inspiration to us all, and his fondness for his grandchildren was clear to all that knew him.
The family would like to convey their deepest appreciation to the caring staff at Kingston General Hospital ICU and Acute Stroke Unit including Dr Jin and the wonderful nurses who cared for Tom and our family in his final days.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 2-5 pm at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James St., E., Brockville. Donations to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation, KGH Acute Stroke Unit would be gratefully acknowledged.
