Lawrence Edgar Dunleavy
Entered into rest at the Sherwood Park Manor on June 4, 2006 at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband of the late Ernestine (Wylie) Dunleavy. He is survived by his loving daughters Linda Stockley and her husband Douglas of Osgoode and Deborah Dunleavy and her husband Howard Alexander of Brockville. Step grandfather of Charlotte and Abraham Alexander. Dear brother of Stella Bradley. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sisters Helen Sheridan and Margaret Picotte, and by seven brothers Garfield, Robert, Russell, Earl, Patrick, William and James Dunleavy.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral home and Chapel, 4 James Street East Brockville from Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of Lawrence's life will held in the Chapel on Thursday at 2:30 pm. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery. In memoriams to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged. The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 96, will hold a Veteran's Tribute at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday evening.
