ELLIS P. JECKS
Ellis P. Jecks, 82, of 3224 16th Ave., Rock Island, died Sunday at St. Anthony's Hospital 'after an extended illness.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Knox-Larson Funeral Home, Rock Island. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. at Union Cemetery, Crystal Lake, Ill.
Visitation is after noon Tuesday at the funeral home, where Masonic services will be conducted at 7 p.m. by Rock Island Lodge No. 658, AF & AM.
Mr. Jecks was born in McHenry, Ill. He married Dora I. Granthem Oct. 27, 1909, in Woodstock, Ill.
He had owned and operated a dairy in Cary, Ill., and later was employed at the Rock Island Arsenal. He had been employed at the Hydraxtor Co., Moline, until retiring in 1959.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Willard T., Rock Island, and Lyle P., Chattanooga, Tenn.; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
