GARTON, Irma Loretta (nee Slater)
Born July 26, 1914, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2007, in Leamington in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband John Garton (1980), son-in-law John Arendale (1998), two sisters Maxine Slater and Betty Wilson and a brother Richard. Lovingly remembered by her 4 children Durella Arendale of Arizona, Suzanne (Dennis) Siddall of B.C., Cheryl (Burns) Foster and John (Doris) of Leamington; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and a great great grandson; sister-in-law Jennie Slater of Killaloo, Ont., as well as many other relatives and close friends. Visiting at the Hammond Funeral Home, 318 Erie Street South, Leamington (519-326-8423), on Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service from the funeral home on Wednesday, February 28, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. with Fraser and Marilyn Lear officiating. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Leamington Hospital Foundation.
