Jack Hubbs
ROY DELBERT HUBBS TWEED - Roy Delbert (Jack) Hubbs passed away at Kingston General Hospital. He had been in failing health for some time.
He resided at Bloomfield, RR 1. His wife, the former Elizabeth McGee, died some time ago. Left to mourn his passing are two daughters, Nancy and Carolyn, and young son, Billie.
He is survived as well by five sisters, (Violet) Mrs. Charles Ainsworth, Grafton; (Maud) Mrs. Edward Carson, Wellington, RR 1; (Marguerite) Mrs. William Yandt, Wellington; (Madelene) Mrs. Merton Christie, Bloomfield, RR 1 and (Gladys) Mrs. Arthur Guernsey, Cherry, Valley; also five brothers, Albert and Gerald, of Brockville; Earl of Toronto, Curtis of Brantford and Charles, with the RCAF, France. A brother Harry died a few years ago.
The funeral was held Friday, July 29 in the afternoon from Gordon Whattam's Funeral Home, Picton. The Rev. R. Spurrell of Bloomfield officiated, and also at the graveside in Glenwood Cemetery.
