Five killed in collision
BELLEVILLE (CP) - Five persons were killed and three seriously injured in a two-car collision Saturday on Highway 14, about 12 miles south of here, police said.
Dead are Michael Storms, 18, driver of one of the vehicles, and Brenda Krock, 17, both of Picton, and Sarah Pearce, 18, of Bloomfield.
Also killed were Stanley MacGowan, 48, driver of the second car, and his wife, Clara, 46, both of Picton.
The MacGowan's children - Jonathon, 19, and Amy, 21 - and Brian Stacey, 18, of Bloomfield, passenger in the Storms car, are in fair condition in hospital, police said.
