Ernest McGee
E. C. McGee
Ernest Clifford McGee, of 255 Elm Street, Gatineau, an employee of Canadian International Paper Company for the past 15 years, died Sunday following a short illness. He was 52 years of age.
Mr. McGee was born and educated in Darling Township, Ont., the son of the late Henry McGee and Jane Jordan. He lived in Western Canada for some time and for the past 15 years had been employed with the CIP, recently in the Masonite Division. He was a member of the Gatineau United Church.
Mr. McGee was married in Brownsburg, Que., in 1944, to the former Margaret Rintoul, who survives. He also leaves three brothers, Robert of Spokane, Wash., and James and George of St. Brieux, Sask., and a sister, Mrs. Charles McJuray, also of St. Brieux.
The funeral will be held Thursday from Hulse and Playfair Funeral Chapel where prayers will be said at 12.30 p.m. to the United Church at Clayton, Ont., for service at 2 p.m. Interment will be in the Clayton United Church Cemetery.
