Tracy Pennock
Battle Creek Native Was 103 Years Old
Tracy M. Pennock, 103, of Chippewa Lake and formerly of Battle Creek, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 1990, at the home of his son, Erwin Pennock, with whom he had lived for the past 10 years.
He was born in Ross Township and lived in Battle Creek at 30th Street and Upton Avenue for 62 years.
While in Ross Township, he worked as a farmer and moved to Springfield in 1919
He was formerly employed by the former Rich Manufacturing Co. and by the old A.B. Stove Co. and by Eaton Manufacturing, before retiring in 1955.
Surviving are sons, Erwin and Maurice Pennock of Si. James City, Fla, four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
His wife, the former Emma Langs, died in 1961. A daughter, Mac Stoddard, died in 1980. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at East Hickory Corners Cemetery
