Mrs. Mary O. LaPlace
Mrs. Mary O'Neill LaPlace, 70, of River Road, Essex, wife of Oliver LaPlace, died Monday in Middlesex Memorial Hospital, Middletown. Born in Brandon County Kerry, Ireland, she lived in Essex 51 years and was a former Hartford resident. Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Robert Breton of Old Saybrook; a sister, Sister Marie Patrice of West Hartford; a brother, Thomas O'Neill in Ireland, and two grandchildren. She was a member of Our Lady of the Sorrows Church, Essex. The funeral: Wednesday, 9:30 a.m., Robinson and Wright Funeral Home, Main Street Centerbrook section of Essex; Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Burial: Riverview Cemetery, Essex. Calling hours: Tuesday, 7 to 9 p.m., Memorial donations: Our Lady of Sorrows Church.
